Let me be direct, your energy has a direct impact on everyone around you. Not just in terms of how they feel when they're around you, but in terms of how their life is impacted as a result of you.
Over the last 4 months, I've grown A LOT and have been sharing lots of positive energy in the process. I've witnessed MANY people feed off of my energy as a result, leading to new projects and new results.
At various times, I've also went completely dark and unavailable to others. Screening phone calls. Cancelling sessions with clients. Not even drinking adequate water.
What's clear to me is that I have a crucial part to play in the growth of others. That I have a definite role that others depend on me for.
Unlike the days when I'd play small and do nothing productive for society, I actually have many unofficial roles now. Roles that I cannot ignore. I may not be paid to do some of these things, but the responsibilities I have are worth hundreds of thousands, if not millions of dollars to take care of.
What responsibilities?
Things like being an emotional and spiritual leader. Things like being a shining example of what's possible. Things like sharing positive messages. Things like that.
Just imagine if Obama, when he was president, showed up one day and was a shell of himself. Negative, pessimistic, distant. That's not an option. Not for a man in his position.
His energy dictates a lot. It's kind of like how if the leader stays calm, then the followers stay calm. That's the role of the leader. She dictates the pace, the mindset, the emotional space, etc.
So, consider, that there is more on the line with every decision you make. That it's not just about you anymore.
That when you eat a Big Mac and Coke, it's not just your weight, or chemical balance that is effected. It's the way you show up for others too. It's more than just you.
You hear that?
It's more than just you.
Just something to think about.
Much love,
GS
